Photograph Retouching Options

Most often photograph retouching is used to remove or add elements to an image to create a new photograph, but with digital image retouching virtually any type of creative image alteration is possible. A person or group of people can be removed from an image to remove distraction from the main subject matter.

Light retouching is just for small changes like the removal of an small object. Medium retouching includes one or two people added or removed and heavy retouching is where there are fundamental changes to content of the image.

Creative Photo Alteration

All prints are made using professional quality Fuji Pro paper with a choice of lustre, pearl or glossy New prints can be made to the same size as the original (or larger if required) using Fuji Crystal Archive DPII Professional papers with a choice of lustre, pearl or glossy finishes. The Fuji paper offers the widest colour gamut, maximum density for deep blacks and excellent colour saturation.

Peace of Mind

For total peace of mind about keeping your precious prints or negative safe, scanning can be completed as you wait. Digital files can be sent to the email address [email protected]. Please make sure you add instructions for what you would like altering.

After the original image or document has been photographed or scanned, it plays no further part in the process. No work is carried out on the original image itself and it is not sent away to a photographic lab.

Orders by Post

If you would like to send photographic prints, negatives or slides via the post, these can be sent via a secure recorded/tracked or next-day special delivery service. The work usually takes around 7 to 10 days, with the original and new copies returned using Royal Mail’s next-day tracked special delivery service.

Scanned images may also be sent via email or a file transfer service i.e. Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc.
