Darker Skies

Yesterday on my Darker Skies blog i posted some images taken in Northumberland a week or so ago. This beach shot stood out but I did wonder what a monochrome version would look like.

Windswept

I’m rather liking the tones of the black and white version. The windswept sand is looking especially good though it didn’t look bad in the colour version. It’s always worth checking out ideas with images. A bit of experimentation can go a long way to understanding an image and help inspire new ideas.
